Cockroaches and pest are a common threat at home. They can damaged your things and spread diseases. The most dangerous thing is that, their population grows very quickly. Controlling or destroying this damaging army can be demanding. People usually try many things and fail when it comes to pest control treatment. It is difficult to eliminate them all at once. However, there are some tricks to wipe them out. Here are some essential tips to prepare your apartment fro a pest control treatment.
For cockroach: You won’t find a cockroach every time at a same place as it hides most of the times. You must find the hiding place to make the treatment more effective. Take out items kept for long from the cupboards, counters etc. where they might be hiding probably. Keep them out at least for an hour after treatment. Avoid cleaning treated areas as long as possible. Let the product dry and do not touch the treated area until then. Check behind the refrigerator as it is a common hiding place of cockroaches. Also check the areas around the stove. After treatment also, remember to keep the places clean and dry to avoid their growth again.
For ants: Remove things from the place where ants have been seen. Let the treated areas dry and do not use them before drying.
For fleas: Vacuum all the couches, chairs and areas before starting the treatment. If you are having pets, wash their bedding in hot water and treat the pet with vet-approved flea treatments. Cover the fish tank with a towel and unplug the circulator.
For spiders: Remove items and prepare walls where spiders have been notices, before treatment.
After the treatment is finished, keep the apartment and surroundings clean.
